„I believe with all my heart that the moment of by so-called artistic birth happened then, long before going to theatre school. And, as any birth should be carefully and lovingly protected, I warmheartedly greet this Festival and wish you

“Just like in love we often say that the first love is the last and the last love is in fact the first, The International Theatre Schools Festival brings each year something irreplaceable, unforgettable. Through the partnership with ARCUB, this year’s 6th edition is certainly the richest and most diverse so far, from the cultures and styles meeting here to the personalities that will become, for a week, guiders of young artists at the beginning of their career”

Manager of the International Festival of Theater Schools

Paul Chiribuţă

“Eleven of Europe’s theatre schools will get together in order to ask questions: How does the magic of theatre work in this tormented XXI. century? Which are the instruments that the theatre creators have in order to make performances the moment of joy in a tense day, or other questions that will be born out of the emotional intensity of these meetings. The big win of this festival are precisely these questions, that come from the intense searching specific to that young age, for which the obstacles become open doors towards the future. Even if during the festival’s week we will not find all the answers, what matters is that questions are asked, because this way the search will have the same direction for all. Certainly, there is not a single answer to a question in art, and maybe the answer doesn’t even matter as much as the search for it. I am convinced that the big audience that will join us, like in the previous years, will share with us the energy, the excitement and the joy that are inherent to these meetings.”
